Welcome

Career Technical Education (CTE) courses are designed to help students develop knowledge and skills that will help them in the workforce.  Students enrolled in these courses who receive a C or better for both semesters and submit a portfolio to MSJC may receive articulated credit.  In this way, students could receive both ten high school credits as well as five units through the junior college.  Typically, these courses offer some kind of certification applicable to the workforce.
 
CTE courses are organized into pathways.  The State of California recognizes successful completion of a CTE pathway as an indicator of college/career preparedness.  Currently, WVHS has CTE pathways in the following areas:
