Summer School will be offered online in two sessions from Friday, June 5 to Thursday, July 2.
Session 1: Friday, June 5 through Thursday, June 18
Session 2: Friday, June 19 through Thursday, July 2
Classes will be offered online either through Edgenuity or Google Classroom. Students will not be coming to campus except to pick up chrome books. Students may check out chrome books next week on Wednesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 4 from 9:00 to 1:00 before summer school begins. Chrome book checkout will take place in front of the school in the same place as end-of-the-year student checkout. Students will receive a chrome book and a chrome book charger. Students will need to follow the district technology policies when using the device.
Students will keep the device through summer school and will not need to check it back in. West Valley will be issuing all students chrome books next school year and summer school students will keep theirs in preparation for the coming school year.
Families will get a letter with further information regarding summer school at that time. This will also be posted to the school website.
In order to support social distancing, we ask that students wear masks when they pick their device up and that they come during the time window as listed below:
Wednesday, June 3 - Note: meal distribution will still be taking place in the east parking lot in the same place it has been and will continue until the end of summer school while chrome book checkout will be in front of the office.
